Week 7: Online Video

The thing that really springs to mind after doing this segment is that old saying:
'A picture tells a thousand words' ...well a video must tell millions....
The proliferation of 'You Tube' is amazing ...walking around our reading rooms, it seems that 1 in 3 clients are using this website...as an educational tool I can see possibilities for the library, as a training tool, a client guide etc.
It can also be fun: for all you cat lovers out there....this one is cute!!

Ciao...or should that be meow...

YouTube definitely has cornered the market, although there are other online video options like Google video; blip.tv; GodTube.com; TeacherTube.com

There are even examples of libraries using it to provide client help using databases - orientation / tutorial.
